Brad and I thought it was time for our family to visit the Oregon Coast. Its been three years since our family has played on the beach. And it was just time to do it again. So we set off for it during spring break. We rented a nice little beach house that was small but fit our needs (ie; washer and dryer, stove, fridge, microwave, beds, TV)

Savanah liked to play in this little river that ran into the ocean. I wasn't as scary for her.
Look what we watched wash upon the shore. We could see it bobbing up and down out in the surf and eventually it drifted ashore. What a lucky find. I wouldn't let them bring it home so we took a picture and let someone else do the honors having it as their beach find.
I had mixed emotions at the beach. Watching my kids out in the water was sort of scary for me. I often found my self screaming a horrible terrified scream for my children to come back or RUN! Brad captured this moment of me doing just that.

Luke. This picture has a funny story. Luke was playing in the river that ran into the ocean. He was wearing sweats and got them all wet and they started to fall down. He took them off swung them above his head three or four times and flung them out along the beach. And ran around in his underwear. It was cold. It never was really sunny for us. As you will notice through the pictures. Anyway, People were watching us play on the beach from their car in the parking lot. Watching my three in half year old run about in his underwear in the cold weather. When we came back up the car. Which had been a while. They said to me "All we can think of is that maybe you guys are from Alaska, because it is really cold. We can't believe a little one like him would run around in this underwear on such a cold day."

Ahhhhh.....Awesome! I am glad you guys do fun stuff!! What fun memories to look back on. Now maybe if Sean could make a little more (or get time off) we could do more than just sleepovers in our living room or Grandmas house. :)
