Savanah's 4th birthday!

Happy Birthday Savanah!
I just can't believe your four years old. Savanah picked out pink Lego's for her birthday gift. This is what Seattle kids do when the sun comes out. Sit in the sun on the floor a play with Lego's. It felt so good. I sat in the sun with them and just enjoyed the sun rays. I've missed you sun.
Back to birthday girl....
snuggling with dog who apparently enjoys sitting in sun too.
This was from our family celebration with her. Her smile is so sincere. Picture below I found on my camera taken by Lucy.
It's march. That means my clovers are blooming. I love the little white delicate flowers.
 Birthday Party Time.
The other side of the table wouldn't give me a nice smile, except for Rex. That boy knows how to get on my good side. We had so much fun with some of Savanah's best friends.

Pinewood derby 2012

You know what happens in January right? Pinewood Derby!!! Here is the line up.
This was Jaeger's first year being the only rep from our family. Owen is too old. (the Owen on the board is another boy)
Check him out! Jaeger is working hard as a Bear and will be a Webelo in a couple of months.
Gotta love it when you get this kind of reaction. His car is doing good this run.

Best of Dance Night

The next couple of photos are the Best from dance night.
I'm not sure if in the 80's they wore their jackets like Lucy is showing. But, you know sometimes you just roll with things. This photo will be great leverage in about 4-5 yrs.
Jaeger sporting his hip hip hip 80s shades.
I love this photo. These are the three PTA kids. This is right out the PTA room door of the school and is basically where these guys hang out and play.
Want to know who much pop you have to buy for a school function?!
Owen with his green team. The only complaint he has about this job is...all the girls. Someday he'll see it differently.

Toothpick Temples

Morning hair! Savanah's short spot is growing out. It was too funny and had to snap a pic.
For scouts last time we did a really fun activity. We worked on our Faith in God and built Temples out of mini marshmallows and toothpicks. I highly recommend this activity for a FHE. I particularly had a blast. It was fun too see what the boys came up with.

5th Grade retreat to Camp Seymour

Guess where my boy is? Yep, on a 5th grade retreat to Camp Seymour.
They've gone on a hikes, learned about sea creatures, went canoeing, Owen and Johnthan were the first to finish the compass course. (By a landslide... thank you boy scouts), and dysected (sp?) a squid. He's having a blast. Brad is with him. He has a group of 8 boys. Brad reported there is no junk food. Next year when Jaeger can go, I am not being left behind.

in the meantime here at home....tonight we ate Popsicles before dinner, gone to bed early, getting homework done and starting science fair projects. whaaa whaaa whaa

V-Day Prep

Well I've been crafting today. We are just getting off from a three day weekend and my house was a TOTAL disaster. This weekend I bought some Valentine's crafts to do. So when the kids left for school. I got all my cleaning done so I could sit and craft. Everything was done by 11am. I really wanted to craft I tell ya.

A felt XO heart garlin. They are the same except one is bigger. I saw this idea on pinterest.
and some mustaches
 and lips...
A sucker will be attached to the lips and staches.
A couple of nights ago Savanah fell asleep in the car like this.
