Shaving

Mark today on your calendar people. Owen started shaving.
Yip that's right.
My eight in half year old boy grabbed his Dads shaver, sat down in front of the T.V. this morning and shaved this legs, belly, arms and any hair possible to shave, since he has none! He started doing the hair on his head. That's where I drew the line.
If he only knew how high maintenance shaving is.
For now, though, I need a good story for leverage. So I'm documenting this one. After church Owen told me he informed his Sunday school class that he shaved! He said his teacher, Brother Smith laughed really hard. Yeah, I bet he did!

Laundry Pile

Am I the only one who puts their dirty, I mean clean laundry on the blog. This is what I've been up to. I know I'm not alone. How many loads of laundry do you do in a day? mine is 3-4, complete loads. Okay, so whats your record for a day. Mine is 6 or 7 (I'm guessing).

All folded. I think that's the hardest part of laundry...folding. I try not to wait until there is a big pile. Who am I kidding, something is always going on and it turns into a pile.

Hand Sanitizer vs. Blue Ink

Anyway I scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed. It faded but did not go away. I turned to the Internet and it said to try Hand Sanitizer.

It totally worked! ..the heavens are singing

So now you now someone who tried it and it worked.

I'll now have to keep one for the car, the purse and now the couch.

Flying high!

We spent Saturday of conference weekend with my cousin Christa and her family. We had a blast. And Tvo (I don't even know how to spell it) was so much fun with conference. We would hear something good and rewind it to hear it again. People would call during the lunch hour and we'd still be watching it cause we would pause so many times. We did successfully get through it.
Afterwards we went outside and were goofing off on the trampoline. She lives on a big hill. so when we would jump in the air it looked like we were flying.

Spring Break with Grandma

The first weekend of spring break we went to Grandma and Grandpa Redford's house. We had a big Easter egg hunt for the kids, dinner and an extended FHE lesson. Jaeger, Brennan and Owen checking their loot fro the Easter Egg hunt.

It was my turn to give the FHE lesson. I am at the front. We were pretending that we were on flying carpets, and would take little imaginary rides when the kids got to many wiggles. It was too good of a day to do it inside. Aunt Kim's photo

-I am getting adapted to my lush green forest scenery over here. We took a walk around the block as a "big" family. I guess I forgot plants, grass and all other vegetation really shut down for the winter. I missed my lush green stuff. But am craving for more of their sunshine!

Vampire question?

I just finished the first book in Twilight for the second time. I watched the movie with Brad the other night. I liked the movie, ONly because I read the book.

I came to the conclusion...I had to re-read the book to convince myself it was really good and not just cheesy as the low budget film. That book really lingers in my mind. The book is much better by the way.

Curious, If you were to turn into a vampire what trait or talent would follow you to your Vampire life? That's a serious question to comment on, but I hope you do.

Cake Lolly Pops!

After reading Aprils newsletter for cub scouts it said I needed to bring a refreshment or appetizer for pack meeting that was last night. So I had a really fun idea to make these cake lolly pops. I got the idea from bakerella thinking the kids would think they were supper cool and enjoy eating them.
So I began..and finished.
Happy, I was on how they turned out. Did you catch what month I was reading for cub scouts? Next months pack meeting. I made them for the wrong night!!!! AWHHH Too much work not to snap a shot of them. I did have fun making them and I WILL make them again at the end of April for that months pack meeting, with a few more details on them.
Another perfect "Anne moment". I tell ya, this is what five kids have done to my brain.
