A couple of things I learned from that car ride.
1) Luke can undo the top part of his seat belt. Brad had to work, so I being the only adult had to make about 4 stops to buckle him back in.
2)Owen's baptism talk is already prepared. Three hours in the car will do that.
3) Always count on leaving two hours after your planned departure time.
4) Don't forget the portable DVD player.
5)Watch out for the grasshoppers. One of my Luke stops was out in farm country and a grasshopper almost jumped in the car.
You could say every Potato is home grown, but these are Grandma Redford's home grown potatoes. Yeah! Grandma stuck her shovel in the ground lifted up the dirt and all the grand kids picked out the potatoes. Now that's the true way to harvest.
Thanks You! Thank You!
And thank goodness he really is a good kid.
Living out in the country equates PETS. Owen kept saying "these animals think I'm their owner, mom." That was his subtle hint to me. He was gentle and loving with all of them.
This is her wonderful view! I'm serious this place is like heaven on earth. In the morning you watch the sunrise with the colors dancing around every cloud and in the evening you can do the same thing. Its so quiet and peaceful. This is the perfect vacation spot...right here. Check out that view!
Of course my kids think they have the coolest toys. Luke with the helicopter. Hes in a helicopter phase right now.
Well she doesn't look as muddy as I remember her.
That night she did have an impressive ring around the tub though.
