Play Ball

Tuesday was supposed to be our first baseball game, but we got rained out. The league had some old shirts from past seasons. I found two Reds shirts for the girl's.

Owen was leaning on a basketball which makes him look huge compared to everyone else. Owen and Jaeger are on the same team this year. Fun times.

Our cousins made a unexpected visit on Monday. We were seconds from missing each other. It was so good to see them.

Becca is so beautiful. I was in the room when this darling girl entered the world. I witnessed her first breath. And now she is driving. And my girls love her as much as I do.

Busy. This last week was a whirl wind of busy. Baseball has started. Brad volunteered to coach Owen & Jaeger's team this year. That has been a lot of fun watching them all together. PTA just finished up the spring fundraiser. I'm dreaming numbers and getting to know the student body through paperwork. Our fence blew down in a big wind storm this winter. A new one was being put up this last week. I'll have to post a finished product. Looks so good. Four fence lines came down in multiple storms. So when they took the fence down five backyards were exposed. Lucy loves to make shampoo due's in the bath tub. I spy a monkey in the tree. Notice sunshine in this last picture. The sun came out to play for three days. It was so therapeutic. We got out all the bikes, scooters & skateboards and headed for the school black top with friends. I found the coolest book at the library the other day... Things to make with PVC pipe. Lets just say I have a few projects lined up (giggle giggle).

A huge hit with my kids. Problem is I only made two pairs.

Jaeg under the weather

Poor Jaeger.

He has strep throat.

Came down with it on Sunday and the doctor confirmed this morning that the boy is sick! He could barley swallow. Developed a couple of fever blisters on his mouth from his roaring fever. That's never fun. Medicine is kicking in and he is starting to eat, drink and smile again. phew! Notice the loot of beverages behind him.

Friday happenings

This last Friday morning I had five extra kids over.

This was the re-cap of late Friday happenings. At webelos on Wed, Owen and Johnathan made rockets. They were showing me how it was done. Hannah and Issac came over to hangout with us and got in on all the fun. She is a darling girl.

I then sent seven kids off to school, ya know just like a normal day.

always missing

There are a few items that I just can't keep around the house. They always go missing.

1-Post it notes
2-permanent and regular markers
3-mechanical pens (My kids take them totally apart)

And it drives me nuts.

Savanah is Three

She might be the youngest child, but she isn't a baby anymore.

She is my shadow and partner in all my daily tasks. A great friend to all. At three she already has a big heart and is very affectionate. She asks every morning where her Dad is.

And is picking up the art of teasing (the older four siblings) Happy Birthday Savanah!

And it turned out to be such a cute one.

I can take this girl anywhere. She loves to jump on the bed... before bed. My only child who is home with me all day. She can't wear socks. Just can't. Her favorite job is emptying the lint from the dryer. She can hear the dryer door open from anywhere in the house. And is as good as sorting laundry as mom. She loves gum.

She likes to play on the laptop like me.
