A blog reader not a blogger

It seems of late I've just become a blog reader. I've got bloggers cramp. Which is funny, because all you ever write about on the blog is cute stuff the family does or whats going on with the family. How hard is it to come up with that!
Today has been a hard day to get motivated. I still have things laying around the house that don't have a "home" yet. That drives me crazy. And its now over whelming my brain to make places for them. I j..u..s..t c..a..n..'t d..o.. i..t.
I'm waiting for the cleaning mood to rush my body. When that happens watch out I do some serious cleaning and organizing but where is that mood now when I need it? I think I left it at the old house or something.

But all I want to do is dig out my sewing machine and start on the Halloween costumes. I've finally got an idea for Lucy's and I bought the felt for Savanah's. I'm ready. And. There is still time to do it.

or I should run to the scout store...

But maybe I could run to Joanne's and pick up the paint Owen needs to paint robots on his new bedroom wall. Yes, I would check out the fabric too. When I go into Joanne's I usually stay in the fabric section, never exploring the other parts of the store. Michael's on the other hand I completely explore every isle and section. Funny huh.

I could just make a list of all the things I want to get done today and just sit on the computer.
Ya that sums up my mood.

*I hope your having a better productive day than me.
*Do you ever feel this way too?

Home Owners!!

Well its official.
We bought a house!
We are so excited and are in the process of living in limbo.
A little at the new house, a little at the old house.
We are making a dent though. We've painted the downstairs living room in the "new" house.
It's actually just down the street from the house we live in now,
so we will be in the same ward and same school.
Brad and I have waited a long time for this and can't believe it is actually happening. This move will be number 9 for us and in Dec. we'll have been married for 10yrs.
Just think this could be my last move for a long time.
anywho...pictures to come.
right now I've gotta get back to the work.

Pancake Mornings

Friday mornings here at my house are pancake mornings.
I look forward to them.
We get to sleep in because of late start. Everyone arose this morning on their own and left me alone while I was busy conquering my morning "get ready" routine. (That's huge) We ate pancakes, with homemade blackberry/blueberry jelly, with a little bit of whipped cream to top and an Ikea children size cup of milk (mine was dark blue).
No grumpy attitudes this morning. Owen responsibly opted out of pancakes and ate his cereal. Jaeger got his backpack ready for his read-a-thon. We even walked the boys to the back of the school.
No one better pinch me I am liking this world.

Unreplaceable friends

Guess who we ran into! The sign says everything! Except they don't have a farm. I'm pretty sure they don't eat seafood, at least John doesn't so NO seafood bash.

Their kids have grown so much in 10 months.

What a fun reunion.

Utah

I had better finish up my summer posts so I can get on to school starting tomorrow. Here is our Utah trip. Mom and Dad
Owen and the neighbor kids

Hot Utah weather equals tons of time without the shirt. We were constantly getting wet.

Savanah broke out into a weird rash while we were there. I think she may have a walnut allergy.

This is a precious picture. Owen's first time golfing with his Dad. He had so much fun! I loaded him with a backpack full of drawing paper, crayons, flash cards but, he didn't need them. He just enjoyed hanging out with his Dad. Brad said he talked the whole time and washed his ball at every hole. Perfect caddy partner if you ask me.

Picking tomatoes green or red.

I always plan a "project" while we are at Mom and Dads. This year we made stilts.
In the scout book, one of the arrows is to walk with stilts. That's where this project originated. (Then a couple of weeks later I get called to be a Den Leader) But most of our family activities lately originate from the scout book.
Grandpa and Savanah
She climb up on his lap all by herself. She sort of has tender spot for Grandpa Glen.

In scouts they have to start a collection. Can you guess what Owen kept for his collection? They would hunt for these in Moms yard. Apparently they have a wasp problem.

more cousins

We stopped at Aunt Ardis's house before heading to Ut. I lived with An Ardie (how I say her name) my 6th grade yr. Heck. I lived with her during summers, when I stayed home from school sick (or just pretending) I went to her house. Her kids and family became my extended family. My second family. And I spent a lot of time at their house. Thanks for all the wonderful memories!!

What I love about this picture is....Jeff (the bald guy) was my favorite person when I was her age. Seeing him play with her really, pricked my heart. Unlike me, she didn't want anything to do with him. But, I loved him. Still do. He was my favorite, favorite. When He got married I was so upset.
And...here it was back then. Jeff and Antoinette. I was 8mo old.
